These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Pegon Academy’s platform, including our website, live virtual classrooms, content, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not access or use our Services.

1. About Pegon Academy

Pegon Academy is a digital education institute that delivers structured training through live, instructor-led virtual classes only. We are not a course marketplace or directory. We do not offer pre-recorded video courses, and we do not allow external instructors to upload or sell courses on our platform.

When you learn with us, you’re joining a real-time, guided experience designed and delivered solely by Pegon Academy’s own faculty and instructional team. We show you how it’s done virtually live, allowing for hands-on guidance, interaction, and real-time answers — not passive video watching.

2. Eligibility to Use Our Services

To access Pegon Academy:

  • You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your country).
  • You must have the authority and legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
  • You agree to comply with all local and international laws applicable to your use.

3. Account Registration

You may need to create an account to enrol in our programs or participate in live sessions. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Take full responsibility for all activities that happen under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we detect any violation of our Terms or disruptive conduct.

4. What We Offer

Pegon Academy provides:

  • Live-only virtual classes, taught in real time by our internal instructors.
  • Scheduled online sessions (via platforms like Zoom or Google Meet).
  • Supplemental learning resources, such as digital handouts or templates (when applicable).
  • Mentorship sessions, practical walkthroughs, and interactive Q&A during live delivery.

Please note:

  • We do not offer pre-recorded videos or on-demand course replays.
  • There is no course resale, content marketplace, or third-party instructor participation.

Every learning experience is led, owned, and delivered by Pegon Academy as an educational institution — not by individual creators or vendors.

5. Payment Terms and Refunds

Some of our services and programs require payment. You agree to:

  • Pay all applicable course or program fees.
  • Use valid and authorised payment methods.
  • Be responsible for any bank charges, taxes, or currency fees.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day refund policy for eligible programs, provided:

  • You haven’t attended more than one live class.
  • The refund request is made within 7 calendar days of your initial payment.
  • The request is not abusive, repetitive, or in bad faith.

To request a refund, email us at pegonacademy@gmail.com with your name, class, and reason for the request.

6. Code of Conduct

By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Respect instructors and fellow students in live sessions.
  • Not record, reproduce, or distribute any class content.
  • Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or unlawful behaviour.

Pegon Academy has zero tolerance for classroom disruption, academic dishonesty, or inappropriate conduct. We may remove or ban users who violate these terms without prior notice.

7. Ownership and Content Usage

All materials, presentations, course outlines, branding, and content provided by Pegon Academy remain the intellectual property of Pegon Academy. You may not:

  • Share, resell, or distribute course content.
  • Repurpose materials for your own commercial use.
  • Claim ownership or representation of Pegon Academy’s brand, assets, or curriculum.

We protect our intellectual property rights to ensure the integrity of our educational services.

8. No External Instructor Submissions

Pegon Academy does not accept third-party course uploads or external instructors. We are not a teaching marketplace or open platform. All classes, content, and instructors are exclusively part of our institution and academic structure.

If you wish to collaborate in another capacity (such as a guest session or co-hosted event), you must seek formal written approval from Pegon Academy management.

9. Platform and Third-Party Services

To deliver our Services, we may use third-party tools such as:

  • Video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom or Google Meet)
  • Payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave)
  • Email and notification tools

Use of these third-party services is subject to their terms of service and privacy policies. Pegon Academy is not liable for failures or issues arising from those external systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

Pegon Academy provides its Services “as-is” and does not guarantee:

  • Specific learning outcomes or certification recognition.
  • Uninterrupted availability of class sessions.
  • Employment or business success after course completion.

We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, revenue impact, or missed opportunities arising from the use of our Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pegon Academy, its team, affiliates, and partners from any claim, liability, or damage arising out of:

  • Your breach of these Terms,
  • Your participation in our Services,
  • Your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination of Access

We may suspend, limit, or permanently terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms,
  • You disrupt our live classrooms or operations,
  • Or your behaviour poses a risk to others or to our platform.

We reserve the right to enforce these terms to protect the experience and integrity of our learning environment.

13. Modifications to Terms

Pegon Academy may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. You are encouraged to review these Terms regularly. Continued use of our Services means you accept any changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
